It has been a year of uncertainty.  Yet despite the obvious economic worries I have continued to be overwhelmed by the level generosity and activism shown by local residents. So I want to take the opportunity to say a huge Thank You to residents for all your support for charities and good causes in and around the constituency.

 

We are fortunate to live in a relatively prosperous and idyllic part of the country and you have my commitment that I will fight tooth and nail to keep it that way.  In Parliament I will continue to push for more local control over our local environment, especially when it comes to local development, and I am determined to stand side by side with residents and Councillors to fight for our local services in the year ahead.
