Vandalism and
Arrogance
14-Apr-04, Windsor Observer.
"For me the word vandalism conjures
images of graffiti, criminal damage and uncontrolled
anti-social behaviour.
This is probably because of the car crime around St Marks
Place, the anti-social behaviour near Fernbank Road, and the
graffiti and noise nuisance around Martin’s Heron.
But the vandalism I refer is less obvious.
It is this Labour Government’s brutal attack on our
nation.
A small group of Labour and Liberal politicians seem
intent on smashing up what has worked well for so many
years.
Naturally some carefully controlled change may be
required in some areas, but not radical change for changes
sake.
They have daubed graffiti on the House of Lords that says
‘this is rubbish’, but have no idea what to replace it with.
We are left with a messy and violated halfway house.
They have broken up the UK with devolution. Scots can
vote on English laws, but the English cannot vote of
Scottish laws!
They want to hand over the stolen deeds to the UK, by
signing a new EU Constitution; Giving control of our nation
to others, without asking.
They have unlocked our doors to uncontrolled immigration
which makes us feel anxious, insecure and undermines our
wellbeing.
So why are they doing these things?
Well perhaps, like hooligans, their actions are mindless
and emotionally driven. Whatever the reason, we must stop
this unnecessary vandalism and arrogance with zero tolerance
at the next election."
